MEMORIAL GIFTS
A memorial book is a way to remember someone who has passed away. Many people purchase memorial books for their library simply because it is a positive way to remember someone special. The shelf life of a book often spans many years, while flowers perish quickly.
If you would wish to make a memorial contribution to our library, please contact the librarian, Mary Lester, at 223-5540 and let her know what you would like to do. You can also send your donation to P.O. Box 650, Winterport, ME 04496. The library always has a wish list of books and other materials that could be chosen for you or you may advise her of selections or subject areas that the deceased person enjoyed.
Cards are sent to the family of the deceased person informing themof each gift. It is such a positive way to remember the passing of a special person.
NEW BOOKS HAVE ARRIVED. Come in and see the many new books that have been purchased with the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation grant!
DONATIONS OF BOOKS
Many patrons have asked about donations to the library. Donations are always appreciated. More recent publications are especially helpful to our collection. You can check with the librarian to see if what you have is needed at the library either by stopping in or calling 223-5540. |
